Grandma’s House

My grandparents have the most wonderful, quintessential grandparent house. Pink carpet, old knick knacks, plastic-covered furniture. The works. Its also in this beautiful neighborhood of Chicago where it looks like nothing has been touched since the 70s (it also happens to be the neighborhood where John Wayne Gacy committed his serial killing, but in true Midwestern fashion, we won’t talk about the unpleasant things right now).

My mom and I went to check on the house today while my grandparents were in Florida, and these are some of the shots I got. I only had my phone with me, so they’re all taken on an iphone, but next time I head over there I’m gonna bring my camera and hopefully shoot more!
